Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. This passage of scripture is referred to as the Great Commission. It is the words spoken by Jesus just before His ascension into Heaven. Why a Great Commission? Think about what the disciples had witnessed. Jesus was illegally tried and didnt fight against it. He was condemned to death. He was beaten. He was nailed to a cross. He died. He rose from the dead! He beat death! He purchased eternal life to all those who trust in Him! Such a gift must be shared. Such a gift brings a great responsibility. He died for all. He wants us to share that message with all. It is not rocket science and it is not even difficult to do. Just tell what the Lord has done for you. Has He saved you? Has He changed your life? Are you one of His that will live forever? Is there any reason why you shouldnt share that? Tell someone this week. It is something that Jesus commissioned us to do. Take a moment and let it sink in
