Word For the Week

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
Because  narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
                                                                                                                             Matthew 7:13-14
Sober words from Jesus. He says that there are two different “ways”. Two roads to travel. Two destinations.
One leads to life, another leads to destruction.

We have many “ways” or highways in our world. Interstate 24 leads us to Nashville. If you follow it to it’s end it takes you to Chattanooga TN.

Wait a minute. I 24 takes you to I 57!

Both of these are true. The difference is your direction!
Jesus said that there are two distinctive ways. Two directions.
God’s GPS can help us to understand which way we are going.

The differences in the ways have to do with the entrance, type of road and destination.
There are also distinctive signs that help you understand the destination.
You can know which path you are on. You just have to be willing to look at the GPS.

Do you want to know? Or would you rather let your destination be a surprise.
If you arrive at the wrong destination, there will be no U-turns allowed.
Are you willing to take that chance?

Take a moment and let it sink in………………………………………………………………………………….
