Do you remember the movie “jaws”?
It was a suspense, action film from the 70’s.

I don’t remember a lot about it.
It was about a beach that was being terrorized by a huge man-eating shark.
I think that the shark was killed by movie’s end.

One thing that is very vivid about the movie was the audio.
Every time the shark was on the prowl there was this music.
The music was an eerie sound that was easy to remember. Perhaps you remember the sounds.

The sound was to warn people of the danger in the water.

Last Sunday we talked about Jonah.
He was a hard hearted, disobedient believer.  We related his story to ours.
He got in some deep water by running from God. Too bad he didn’t have the jaws audio to warn him.

Are you disobedient? Have you said no to God?
Are you trying to run from Him?

If so, you may already be in deep water.
If you listen close, you can hear the danger. There’s something lurking in the water.

What should you do? Repent! Do what God says or face the danger in the water
God can and will deliver you.
