The Christmas Holiday is now over.  New Years is upon us. Soon, the December hustle and bustle will only be memories. Then, we return to real life.

This is a time when we can reflect on the past year. We began the year focusing on faith. Our slogan for 2008 was “Increase my Faith in 08!”

Why should we focus on faith? The answer is because without faith it is impossible to please God.
                                                                                                                                                                   Hebrews 11:6
And,
“faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen         Heb 11:1
 “the just shall live by faith"       Heb 10:38

It sounds like faith is very important. The Bible speaks of faith being something that grows.
The question for this week is this “is your faith growing?”.
Would you like for your faith to increase in the coming year? There is a way.

Seven Disciplines are revealed to us in the Scripture. They are
1. Bible Study
2. Bible Application
3. Prayer
4. Meeting Together
5. Submission to Authority
6. Giving to God
7. Sacrifice

Why not decide today that you are going to be disciplined this year. If you follow these disciplines, your faith will grow. Remember,  Decision + Discipline = Destination.
It’s your choice.
